- Relieves Stress & Controls Weight
- Run Safe EVA Foam Surface
- Easy Assembly, Easy to Clean
There have been more and more studies showing that cats kept inside can become bored and develop cat depression and other psychological problems. These issues can present themselves in many ways such as destroying furniture or not using litter boxes. In field testing our cat wheel has proven to not only enhance the physical well-being of our cats but altered their disposition to be more relaxed and calm.
Assembled Dimensions: 48" H x 47" W
Wheel Diameter: 47"
Run Surface: 10.75" W
Weight: 25 lbs.
Sturdy and lightweight for ease of moving it around. Can be cleaned by taking it outside and spraying it with a hose or wiped down with a wet towel. Foam traction pads are replaceable and do wear with use, depending on how much your cat runs, will determine when they should be replaced.
My cat burns off so much excess energy with this thing!
This is so much fun to get out energy in our over energetic cats.
Its easier to start with a kitten! :)
It took about a week+ to get her used to it, but my cat is now totally obsessed. She is a very active house Burmese cat who keeps me up at night with her meows and playing. Now I sleep peacefully every night. Still trying to get the lazy fat cat to use it.
My bengal Richard Parker took to it immediately! He loves it! Violet, my other bengal hasn't given it the time of day yet, but they say it could take a month or so before she warms up to it.
My cat loves his wheel. After watching the video the training went well!
Easy to assemble but hard to move up stairs so assemble where item is to be used. Have three cats and it took about a month before one started to use. But since they all enjoy to use. Run, walk or laying on. It does get its use. Mostly at 3 a.m. LOL. Thanks for such a good item. No problems with product and cats will use with help from yourself and other cats. Time is a factor. They have to adjust and trial by using
I never thought we would be able to afford a cat wheel, now we have 5, one for each adoption room at our shelter, our cats love them, they run on them every day, people watch them from the windows and its so much fun , some of the cats learned on their own, others we taught with a toy on a string, even the cats that dont run on the wheel love to watch the other cats run on the wheel, its a great source of entertainment and exercise for the cats that are waiting for adoption. We recommend a wheel for all adoptions:)
took me not even a few tries with some threats to get him to walk forward, had to put him on myself 1 or 2 times, took me not even 30 mins of work to put the idea in his head that its his, after that it took a few days but he would go near it and move it with only his front paws to check, now he just jumps on and runs constantly at random times lol, he loves this thing lol. Way better then expected for me thanks.
my cats love this haha good times , still use it
My cats wont go on it though. They are fat. So we call this our Stargate portal....
Our Savannah rescue boy loves it mostly as a scratching post but he will run a few cycles at a time several times a day. Unfortunately, due to his enthusiastic claw application, the foam padding is pulling off and shredding badly. I believe the company sells replacements, but we had hoped it would have lasted longer than this and have to make sure he doesn't accidentally ingest the shredded foam.
I bought this for my hyper kitten! He likes to wrestle with his "aunts and uncles", but they don't have the energy to keep up with him for long. When I see that they are getting worn out, I set him on the wheel and let him run off his extra energy! I used a red laser pointer to encourage him to run on it for 2 days, and now he knows what to do! Kittens learn fast! It was easy to put together, just be careful not to pinch your fingers as you snap the fasteners in!
It took two days for my Savannah to get on the One Fast Cat exercise wheel without any encouragement. Apprehensive on day one with the feather and toy mouse, full speed on day two. She is on it all the time (longer, faster times at night, early morning). Well worth the $$$. Great investment!!
There were some issues with the product but the customer support helped me deal with it in a timely fashion. My cat loves the wheel now but it took some time for him to get used to it. You have to have patience. Give it at least a month before saying that your cat has no interest in it. Also, it will take some work on your end to train the cat to use the wheel. Figure out if your cat is motivated by a toy or a treat and get to work. You absolutely must watch a training video on the "one fast cat" website. If you follow the instructions and give it time it will work 100%! Good luck.
Cats love it. Started using it before I got the green foam pads on.
